About this organisation

The Cambridge University Gilbert and Sullivan Society exists to put on high quality productions of (mostly) the operettas of Gilbert and Sullivan, and to provide an opportunity for lovers of singing, dancing, acting and terrible puns to meet and socialise.

The society puts on five productions a year: the freshers’ show in November, The main show in February, a May Week show in June, a performance at the International Gilbert & Sullivan Festival in August and a large scale production at the prestigious Minack Theatre on the cliffs of Porthcurno, Cornwall in September.
