ECDL Essentials (Level 1 ITQ Award)
ECDL Essentials is a level 1 qualification and has been designed to give users a basic introduction to computing with relevant skills in using the basic tools required for IT today. The units covered are:
- IT User Fundamentals
- Using Email and Internet
- Security for IT Users
ECDL Extra (Level 2 ITQ Certificate)
ECDL Extra is a full level 2 qualification designed to assess users in the core applications of IT used at work. This includes:
- Word Processing*
- Spreadsheets*
- Presentations*
- Improving Productivity Using IT
*If required any one of these units can be changed to cover Databases.
