About this event
Do you need advice on local healthcare services? Then why not pop down to your local market?
This Summer will see the return of NHS Cambridgeshire's popular PALS roadshows which aim to bring information and advice on local healthcare services to a market place or event near you.
Last year NHS Cambridgeshire's Patient Advice and Liaison Service gave information and advice to almost 3,000 people at their roadshow events which proved so popular that they are going to be out on the road again this year.
PALS is a completely confidential service to help patients, carers and members of the public who need advice, have concerns or are not sure where to turn for help.
The service:
• Advises and supports patients, their families and carers
• Provides information on NHS services
• Listens to your concerns and suggestions
• Helps sort out problems quickly on your behalf
Sue Last, Assistant Director of Patient Experience and Public Engagement at NHS Cambridgeshire said:
“The PALS team is here to help members of the public. PALS offers a free and confidential service - and can help you find a local service - for example a GP or dentist, offer advice if you have a problem with any health related treatments you are receiving, or need help to resolve an issue. I would encourage people to use PALS because they can help you make the most of your local services."
