Friends of Huntingdonshire Community Nursery

About this organisation

The Friends group supports the work of the Huntingdonshire Community Nursery project (situated in Park Lane, Godmanchester) which works with schools, groups and individuals with a wide range of ages and abilities to encourage an understanding and enjoyment of gardening, horticulture and the countryside. It produces trees for the Parish Planting Scheme, vegetables and flowers for the community and sustains local varieties of fruit trees.
Designated "Best Garden for Special Needs" in Anglia in Bloom the nursery welcomes new volunteers to help maintain and develop the project.
