About this organisation

Channel 7 is a video production club formed in 1989 to promote video making skill to the community. Since then the club has grown in size and strength with a continuous improvement in production quality. This has been reflected in the number of awards received by Channel 7. Our work is now regularly shown on regional television and local cable channels. Channel 7 is based in St Neots and draws its members from many surrounding towns & villages. Members are encouraged to participate in all area of film production both on and off the screen. As part of our commitment to the local community, Channel 7 regularly holds video festivals which attract large audiences. We also invite other video clubs and individuals to enter films to be shown. Young people have an important role within Channel 7 and are actively encouraged to participate in acting and technical roles. It is our policy to include as many young people as possible in each project, and to date all productions have utilised young people in a wide variety of roles.
