About this organisation
“People never grow up they just learn how to act in public.” (Bryan White) Some people seem to enjoy mental well-being all of the time. Most of us don’t! At times, life can be stressful and uncertain, or we get ourselves into difficulties, or bad things just happen. But there is help out there to see you through the worst bits. If you are someone who is able to seek and use advice on your own and you have a sense of what’s causing your problems, then have a look in our services directories. Here you may be able to find what’s available locally or online to help. But if you need to turn to professional help and support then our help pages guide you through what is available and how to be referred. CPFT adult services are available to people of working age. Our services are innovative and we have developed a range of specialist teams to provide care and treatment for any mental health problems, as well as physical and learning disabilities and serious mental illness. CPFT is one of 58 mental health trusts in England and we provide health and social care services for people with mental health illnesses and also children's community services in Huntingdon. This might include counselling and other psychological therapies, community and family support or general health screening.
