In addition to personal care Midas Care now welcomes discussions regarding personal budgets as we promote the local authority initiative of self-directed support.
This new service provides users of our services who receive financial support from the local authority the opportunity to discuss and choose how your budget is utilised.
Midas Care can help you create a support plan tailored to your personal requirements which may include shopping trips, hairdressing or even a trip to the theatre, the choice is yours. Midas Care provides dedicated caring staff to help you maintain your independence as you choose how your social needs are met.
Enquiries regarding Private or Local Authority Funded Care are welcomed by our trained staff who are here to help, guide and assist.
Cultural provision: Midas Care is able to produce literature in the service users native language upon request.
Special diets: Midas Care staff are trained to cater for all dietary requirements which we are presented with.
Other specialist provision: Midas Care prides itself on it's ongoing training programme which provides our staff with regular training in manual handling, health and safety, medication management, food & hygiene, first aid and infection control. Specialist areas include catheter care, peg feeding, administration of eye, ear and nose drops. Midas Care also has trained staff to help with end of life care.
